Grid Energy Storage Case

Grid-side energy storage is an important energy management technology that stores excess electricity from the power system for use during power peak periods or emergencies. This energy storage technology helps balance grid loads, improve grid stability and reliability.

The project team composed of Southern Power Grid Guangxi Power Grid Company, Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Joint Stock Company, Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Physics, and Zhongke HaiNa Technology Co., Ltd. successfully conquered the large-scale energy storage technology of sodium-ion batteries, completed the development of long-life, wide-temperature, and high-safety sodium-ion energy storage batteries, and the trial production of complete sets of equipment for large-capacity sodium-ion battery energy storage systems.
